Founded in 2012 by Nick and Marco, The Gourmet Hog Roast Company began with humble origins in Wimbledon.
Both founders shared a passion for barbecuing for friends and family, leading them to create a catering company specializing in hog roasts and barbecues.
They identified a gap in the market for a high-quality service that offered delicious pork, avoiding dry meat served in cheap bread rolls.
Marco
Marco, a passionate South African, operated a small olive grove in Italy where he produced traditional cold-pressed olive oil.
Each year, he travelled to Italy to hand-pick the olives and manufacture the oil using traditional methods.
Nick
Nick spent seven years working alongside a pig farmer in Lincolnshire, where he developed a deep appreciation for fine meat production.
He was eager to bring this passion to their new catering venture.
Fast forward 12 years, and the company now boasts teams stretching across the UK, delivering the same high-quality hog roasts and barbecues that Nick and Marco have provided for over a decade.
