Many of our guests who it turns out are hog roast aficionados commented that it was the best hog roast they had ever had with the meat remaining moist and succulent throughout. We had a 25th Wedding Anniversary party on 22nd June 2024. Gourmet Hog Roast provided the catering for 70 people in our garden in Teddington. The food, set-up and staff were fantastic - we could not have hoped for better quality ingredients and substantial portions. We had canapes to start, a full BBQ then pizzas at night-time from a wood-fired oven.Tom and Ewan were superstars and even cleared up everything that night without us noticing! The Gourmet Hog Roast were used to provide food the rest of the staff (including myself) in the closing down of CFC1 at Ocado.What can I say, truly tremendous.From the friendly staff (Russell was very polite and knowledgeable of his product) to the delightfully delicious dishes that they served up.The burgers were juicy, meaty and overall full of flavour. The accompanying side salads and condiments were fresh and also very flavoursome.I looked forward to ordering my food and savouring every last mouthful of simply one of the best burgers I've had the pleasure of eating.Would happily use the gourmet hog roast for a private function and I implore anyone that is thinking about using them to book them now.

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for making Chris & Sara’s wedding the beautiful and relaxing day that it was.  My abiding memory will be you, calmly and quietly, constantly walking the venue, clip board in hand, gently overseeing that all was well.  You cannot imagine how much pressure that took off me.

Your staff were outstanding and I hope you will let them know that.  The waiting staff were friendly, efficient and utterly professional. The bar staff were superb and I would like a special thank you to them for the amazing job they did on clearing up at the end.  When I got back the next morning expecting to deal with a horror I was presented with everything ordered and sorted; again so much pressure removed.

The food was wonderful and everyone commented on how brilliant the whole meal was but this was as much to do with the presentation and professionalism of your company as it was to the fantastic cooking !!

I have to commend you, your company and all your staff for a brilliant job.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you so, so much.

The food was absolutely fantastic, as was the service from Victoria and the other chef (Joe?). 10 out of 10 in all respects.

We were very pleased, could not fault it in any way, and I would have no hesitation recommending you.

Two aspects impressed us in particular. Firstly, while the meat was tremendous, the quality of the salads also stood out. Coleslaw can often be too rich and creamy, but yours was excellent and served to enhance rather than compete with the meat. The parmesan and pinenut salad was also excellent.

Secondly, your chefs provided excellent service and were very kind and easy to deal with. We didn’t have to do anything at all. They were in no hurry to leave and wanted to make sure that we had alternate tables and serving dishes, and helped us get these out before leaving.

Thanks again and please pass on our sincere thanks to the whole team. It was an important day for us and thanks to you it was a huge success.

They carried boxes of wine around, set up the electric and provided extra cables and checked on what I wanted at suitable moments. They did everything exactly the time they said they would. It was great to have The Gourmet Hog Roast catering for our party last month. They took care of everything start to finish and were a real pleasure to have around as part of the party. We had both the Pork and the marinated Lamb, which were absolutely perfect. Sweet juicy meat and a mound of crispy crackling! Not to mention the potatoes cooked in the meat juices below, simply delicious! It was the talking point of the party and without fail everyone commented on not just the excellent food but the friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff who clearly love what they do. By far the best Hog Roast I’ve had and I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough.

When we got in touch they were super friendly and helpful and seemed to tick all the boxes… flexible, gazebo provided, serving, plates, cutlery all just as we had wanted. On the day they turned up promptly and once they’d set up the roast, they went so far to offer their help with the other party arrangements we were making, so we roped them into that too! They couldn’t have been nicer to have around and everyone commented positively on the quality of the food… When all was done, they cleared up perfectly and left with a minimum of fuss. We would not hesitate to recommend them for whatever your event is.
